I'm so glad to hear that another of the fine old communitiy theaters has been saved. The Colonial in Keene, NH, has a similar history and has been restored by a group of local people who just couldn't stand by and watch it deteriorate. It is now used for movies, concerts, local performances and road shows. I know the Ioka in Exeter, NH, a classic Art Deco movie theater, has been restored, too.

I wonder if anyone has a register of these New England movie houses that have been restored. It would be fun to visit them.
