I was just there last week, and what a smashing hotel it is! The recent restoration has brought it back to its original grandeur, even to restoring the painted ceiling panels. The concierge floor is worth every penny, with a good breakfast and evening snacks that are not only delicious, but varied and sturdy enough to make a light dinner that's just enough after a day's Christmas shopping. Plus free internet, newspapers and a library in the beautiful lounge on that floor.
