That's fascinating about the skeleton -- how they prepared it and all. I have only seen a small whale sketeton that is displayed on the beach at Furteventura, in the Canary Islands, where it was found. But a sperm whale must be really impressive.

The whale skeleton is huge, very impressive. The cleaning of it was a 4 year multi million dollar process. Well worth it as the sperm whale was what put Nantucket on the map 200+ years ago. Today there are fewer than 500 sperm whales in existence.
