Leesburg, Virginia is a great place for travellers to experience a beautiful historic districts, great restaurants and wineries, all within a short drive from DC.

Nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Potomac River, Leesburg is the perfect spot for travelers to get a taste of Loudoun County in northern Virginia.

Leesburg is situated in Loudoun County, northern Virginia, 40 miles or approximately one hour’s drive from Washington DC.

The town boasts a gorgeous historic district and historic landmarks, excellent restaurants, parks and nearby wineries.

The historic district in Leesburg has beautiful architecture, unique shops and Colonial and Civil War walking tours are offered through the Loudoun Museum.

Historic Landmarks in Leesburg
