The US is an unrivalled magnet for shopaholics, as visitors from all over the world hunt for quality products and bargain prices. Many are attracted to cities like New York and Boston, while others raid the tax free outlets in Delaware and New Hampshire.

All over the US, shopping malls provide a convenient alternative. Most are sited a few miles away from city centers and have up to 400 stores on the same site, with entertainment facilities and ample free parking. Usually, three or four department stores anchor the mall and then there is a wide variety of smaller, but well-known stores and a good selection of places to eat.
